Baise moi which is listed in IMDB as “Rape me” has found its way onto “most disturbing” lists for its realism and violence. Baise-moi is a work of pop art sold as an entry into the 'rape-revenge' subgenre. It may not be quality cinema though its powerful none the less. In English, the film's title would be correctly translated as "Fuck me", and not "Rape me" under which it was originally released in North America.
